Geisha in Gion

Last week when my parents were visiting, we explored Gion.
We we’re very lucky in many respects. The rain stopped for us and we saw several Geisha’s wondering around.
This really added to our day, especially since we were Gion which is a well-known district for Geisha.
Upon doing a little research I found out that in Gion the term Geisha is not used but instead these women are referred with the local word Geiko, which means women of art.

The women below are not Geisha (Geiko). They are dressed in traditional Yukata, and i think they are too beautliful not to include in this post.
